Although our branch primarily covers the area from St Nicolas-at-Wade to Ramsgate and from Margate to Sandwich we welcome members from anywhere.
We are an inclusive club and everyone is welcome whether you’re already an experienced beekeeper, just getting started in the craft or simply interested in bees. Beekeeping is for everyone regardless of age or disabilities.
Thanet Beekeepers Association is affiliated with the British Beekeepers Association (BBKA).
Membership Types
Registered membership for those with bees
Country membership for those interested in beekeeping but have no bees
Partner membership for those who are partners of registered members
Junior membership for those under 18 years
Affiliate membership for those who are already members of other beekeeping associations and would like to join TBKA as well
